After a successful inaugural season last year, City Centre Me’aisem has brought back its pop up community hub ‘Outdoors’ with many more exciting food trucks and stalls, entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages.  The area just outside the mall has been transformed into a vibrant communal space inspired by buzzing international food markets where people can take in the fresh air, get active, make new friends and let your pets socialise too!

Something for everyone
Whether you just want to unwind after a long day at work with cheerful tunes or make it a movie night with the kids, there’s something for everyone at ‘Outdoors’. Visitors can hum and sway to the upbeat music by a DJ or live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while teenagers can challenge friends at arcade and carnival games in the Magic Planet zone daily. The mall has also created a movie screening area with bean bags and cushions for movie buffs and kids to watch popular animations and family favourites every day during ‘Outdoors’.

Eat your heart out
Dig into the hottest fast casual food concepts, from poke bowls to dazzling desserts with liquid nitrogen, all at ‘Outdoors’ this season. Be spoilt for choice as you mix and match your proteins, greens and sauces for a wholesome bowl of food at Poke Poke or make Instagram followers jealous with pictures of the reinvented sweet treats at the science-lab dessert bar The Inventing Room. Get traditional Arabic food with a contemporary twist at Kris Kros, while fans of spicy chicken wings and fries can get their fix at the aviation-themed fast-food chain Wingstop. For some added theatrics, Wheel 35 will be setting up with their giant cheese wheel to whip up generous portions of pasta oozing with cheese. All-day breakfast lovers will find all their favourite colourful cereal options at Cereal Killer Café, which will be popping up with their signature drinks, milkshakes and toasties. Saudi chic café Dose will be bringing their innovate brews, including the kitkat coffee, rose milkcake latte, pistachio cold brew for visitors at ‘Outdoors’, as well.

Play and Pet
Little ones can have fun with some cuddly animals at the petting zoo every Friday. As the kids roam freely and interact with the hamsters, goats, chicken and rabbits, they’ll get a tactile experience that will help them learn more about the animals and teach compassion towards other living beings. There will also be an opportunity for kids to take a thrilling pony ride around ‘Outdoors’ this season.

Put your creative hats on
Weekends just got more fun for kids with themed workshops on Saturday at ‘Outdoors’. In the Slime and Portion week, kids can get messy with slime and come up with outrageous models using slime, glitter and other sparkly material. The La La Land- themed workshops will have them create unicorns and rainbows out of colourful paper and paints. Kids can look forward to similar exciting themed activities every weekend.
