The garden themed ‘The Backyard’ is located in the East entrance of the mall is a one-stop destination for families to enjoy great moments together every day by creating, playing, learning and dancing. Until November 16, City Centre Me’aisem’s ‘The Backyard’ will be the place to see and experience Dubai’s best entertainment for kids, science workshops, floral arrangement and jewellery making workshops for women, and wellness sessions for free. Visitors can also end their stressful workday with an hour-long calming yoga session every Friday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9pm.

Fun Fridays on November 10, From 1pm to 8pm

The Magic Workshop is presented by award winning children’s magician Magic Phil. The fun and highly interactive show invites kids into Phil’s secret world of magic and illusion, where kids will learn their very own magic tricks with every day house hold objects. A workshop and show that is not to be missed!

Professional Balloon Twister Mr. Adie will be making his colourful and wacky creations that are out of this world and teaching kids how to make their very own balloon masterpieces. A fun and creative workshop!

The Circus workshop invites the whole family to get involved from clowning around, plate spinning and learning how to juggle. Parents it’s time to get silly with your little ones!

Sporty Saturday on 11 November, From 12pm to 8pm

In collaboration with My Gym children will have loads of fun as they gain strength, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility while developing social skills, confidence and self-esteem. Kids will jump, skip, and hop around The Backyard to help them develop physically, cognitively and emotionally.

Scientific Sundays on November 5 and 12, From 2pm to 8pm

Calling all mad scientists out there! Children with have continuous fun and learn interactively by exploring the new era of robotics and discovering the basics of science. The workshop aims to provide children and youngsters with the right skills to expedite their learning, express their creativity and help them explore their science potential.

Earthy Mondays on November 6 and 13, From 2pm to 8pm

This unique recycling workshop for the kids will educate kids about how they can make a difference to the environment by recycling items they have at home. Children will also learn about the importance of nature in the Plantation and Gardening workshop.

Dazzling Tuesdays on November 7 and 14, From 2pm to 8pm

Does your child want to learn how to play the drums or shake a leg with contemporary dance moves? Trained professionals will lead exciting, active classes for children who are musically inclined on Tuesdays. Children can choose from a foot-tapping afternoon learning new dance routines or get acquainted with the basics of playing an instrument as well as create their own orchestra.

Ladies Wednesdays on November 8 and 15, from 2pm to 8pm

Ladies can get creative with The Backyard craft activities on Wednesdays. They can pick up tips and tricks at the hands-on floral making workshops where they will learn how to create flower bouquets and vases that they can take home with them. At the cupcake decoration workshops, participants will learn how to get creative with unique designers on their desserts. They can also make a thoughtful gift for their loved ones at the jewellery making workshops.   

Theatrical Thursdays on November 9 and 16, From 1pm to 9pm

Children can kick off their weekend with a fun time out at the movie corner or catch a thrilling animated puppet and marionette shows in City Centre Al Me’aisem’s Backyard. The mall has stocked the latest animation movies from Frozen to Cars & Planes to create great moments for its little guests.
